Welcome to Switch Socket and Supplies, we have been trading from West Lancashire since 2009. As you can see, we are an ecommerce electrical & homeware business. We specialise in decorative switches, sockets & a wide variety of dimmers.
In 2009 we began with a variety of supplies and no real idea on what we wanted to focus on! We were just beginners on the ecommerce platform, every day was a learning curve for us.
We have always admired Varilight products and have used them in many house renovations of our own. After doing our research, we favourited selling switches and sockets from some of their stunning ranges including the Matt Black, Brushed Brass, Brushed Steel and a whole lot more! Since, we have both worked together to develop both our businesses.
After the high demand from customers, we decided to expand ourselves as a business stocking the highly requested BG Electrical. BG offer many finishes such as Brushed Steel, Pearl Nickel, Polished Chrome & Brushed Iridium. Some of these finishes are also available in flat plate & screwless.
We have recently partnered with Swan, focusing on the homeware ranges. This includes small appliances and kitchenware. Our best seller from our Swan range is the Handheld steamer which has received excellent feedback.
In October 2021, we decided to have a re-brand! With the re-branding came a brand-new logo and website which we are forever trying to improve for the benefit of our customers. Collectively, we thought of the idea to write a weekly blog to be published on our website to keep new & existing customers updated on new products and any news that involves the business. So, without further ado, here is our very first blog!
Last month, we came across ‘Trendi-Switch’ on our social media account, yes…you guessed it, we got a new supplier! Trendi’-Switch has only been live on our website for around a month now and orders have already proved that it’s going to be a catch for customers. After all, they are ‘Trendi’! 😉 Some of our Trendi-Switch orders included:

On another note, we have had Facebook and Instagram for many years but with not having much time to manage this, we have recently hired an extra pair of hands, who now manages our social media. Since then, we have gained a TikTok account (@switchsocketandsupplies) where you can see behind the scenes of Switch Socket & Supplies and much more recently, we have created a Twitter account (@SalesAtSSS).
